Peach Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. sweet butter
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease well a heavy 9-inch skillet. Cream butter and sugar until light.
    Beat in egg.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Beat half into creamed mixture; beat in half of the milk.
    Repeat, beating well.
    Pour batter into prepared skillet.
    Arrange peach slices on top of batter.
    Bake for 25 minutes.
