Texas Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 oz. pkg. frozen hash browns
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 pt. sour cream (12 oz.)
    1/2 c. chopped onion or 2 Tbsp. dehydrated
    10 oz. or 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Defrost potatoes.
    Combine butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese.
    Mix and add potatoes.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch casserole.
    Layer with corn flakes and butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
