Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Vidalia onions or enough to cover bottom of baking dish 2 or 3 times (other onions not so good or crunchy)
    1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
    1/3 soup can milk
    slivered water chestnuts
    2 c. Total or corn flakes
    1/2 stick margarine, melted
    slivered almonds
Preparation
    Spray 9 x 9-inch baking dish with Pam.
    Slice onion.
    Place in bottom of dish with slivered water chestnuts.
    Add Total and almonds.
    Pour margarine evenly over.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
