Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. red potatoes, sliced 1/8-inch thick
4 oz. grated Gruyere cheese
3 Tbsp. flour
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, cut in small pieces
4 c. chicken broth
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Generously butter a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, toss potatoes with 1/2 cup of the Gruyere cheese and flour.
Arrange potatoes in three layers, seasoning with salt and pepper and sprinkling remaining 3/4 cup Gruyere and bits of butter between layers and on top.
Pour chicken stock over top.
Bake about 1 1/2 hours until potatoes are tender and golden brown on top.
