Potato-Topped Cheeseburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 small onion
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. catsup
    1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. mashed potatoes
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion in shortening; drain. Add salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, corn, cheese and catsup; mix well. Spoon into greased 1-quart casserole dish. Blend egg yolk and potatoes; spread over meat mixture or spoon around edge. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. For more crisp topping, place under broiler for several minutes.
