Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. kosher dill pickles
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. reserved pickle juice
Preparation
    Drain dill pickles (reserve juice).
    Slice lengthwise or in chips.
    Use glass or enamel bowl.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Let stand at room temperature for 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Pack in container and refrigerate.
