Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck green tomatoes
    12 large onions
    12 green peppers
    2 qt. vinegar
    3 lb. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 Tbsp. turmeric
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    3/4 c. salt
Preparation
    Wash and cut tomatoes into slices.
    Slice onions thin.
    Dice peppers and sprinkle with 3/4 cup salt.
    Let stand overnight.
