Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
    1 green pepper, sliced in rings or chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 purple onion, sliced in rings or 1/2 c. chopped green onions
    1 small pkg. frozen green peas, sprinkled with 1 Tbsp. sugar (may be cooked and cooled)
Preparation
    Layer the ingredients in the order given in a large bowl or deep casserole.
    Cover and seal edges with Hellmann's real mayonnaise (1 pint).
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Cover thoroughly with Bac*Os.
    Cover entire top of bowl with Saran Wrap. Let set 6 to 8 hours before serving.
