Venison Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. venison, cut into 1/2-inch cubes or ground
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 large red onions, chopped
    2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans kidney beans, undrained
    3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 c. water
    3 to 4 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Combine venison, ground beef and onion in a Dutch oven.
    Cook until meat is browned, stirring to crumble beef.
    Drain off pan drippings.
    Stir in beans, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water and chili powder.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until venison is tender, adding more water as needed. Yields about 7 cups.
