Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. active dry yeast
2 c. warm water
Preparation

Whip the ingredients gently with a whisk until well combined. Cover loosely and let set at room temperature for three days, stirring daily.
At the end of 3 days, starter should be bubbly when you stir it and have a clean, sour aroma.
The starter is now ready for use.
It may be stored in refrigerator for 14 days.
To replenish after using, add 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk and 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar.
