My Own Crab Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices raw bacon
    1 medium chopped onion
    2 c. boiling water
    1 qt. tomatoes or 1 lb. can
    1 1/2 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. catsup
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. seasoned salt
    2 to 3 tsp. seasoned pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. ground thyme
    2 Tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
    1 1/2 lb. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 lb. crab meat
    1 1/2 to 2 qt. water (as needed)
    2 drops hot sauce
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cut up bacon slices and simmer with onion in a large Dutch oven.
    When bacon is brown and onions golden, add boiling water and tomatoes, cut up.
    Boil for 5 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour or more.
    If necessary, skim top.
