Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Heat chocolate and shortening, in 2-quart saucepan, over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Remove from heat.
    Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Spread in greased pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inch. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes; let cool.
    Cut into about 2-inch squares.
