Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. water
rind of 2 lemons, cut into thin strips
1/8 tsp. salt
juice of 6 lemons (1 c.)
Preparation

Boil the first 4 ingredients for 5 minutes.
Cool.
Add juice; strain.
Use 3 or 4 tablespoons syrup per glass.
