Islander Cheese Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. cream cheese, softened
    8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 Tbsp. chopped green onion, including tips
    1 or 2 tsp. seasoning salt (1 preferred)
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Blend cream cheese and pineapple together with electric mixer. Stir in onion, salt and 1 1/2 cup nuts.
    Cover with extra nuts and chill.
    Scoop out pineapple, after cutting a pineapple lengthwise.
    Use waxed paper to line inside of pineapple to prevent juice from making dip soggy.
    Fill pineapple with chilled dip.
