Canadian White Christmas Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. white sugar
1/2 lb. butter
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 lb. bleached raisins
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. sliced almonds
1/2 lb. citron peel, chopped fine
2 c. flaked coconut
1 Tbsp. oil of lemon
Preparation

Mix fruits in large bowl.
Sift flour and baking powder over fruit.
Mix with hands to thoroughly cover fruit.
Beat eggs.
Add milk, oil of lemon, sugar, butter and coconut. Pour over flour and fruit. Bake 2 hours first hour at 275\u00b0 and second hour bake at 300\u00b0. Makes 2 large loaves.
