Ingredients

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained
2 (16 oz.) cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 large onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

Heat oil until hot; add onion.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
Add ground beef; cook 3 to 4 minutes.
Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper and cinnamon.
Add tomatoes.
Reduce heat to low. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, stirring in beans.
Simmer 1 hour.
Serve with grated cheese.
