Tomato Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    tomatoes (very slightly green)
    butter
    flour
    milk
    salt
    pepper
    sugar
Preparation
    After frying tomatoes, add butter to last pan.
    Add 3 or 4 slices of tomatoes.
    Fry, but not very brown.
    Mash.
    Add a little more butter.
    Add about half as much flour as butter. Brown a little.
    Add milk to right consistency.
    Add a little sugar, salt and pepper to taste.
    Bring to boil; serve over bread. Makes one serving.
