Mini Monte Cristo Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter (soft)
    2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    8 slices white bread
    4 slices Fontina/Swiss cheese
    4 slices cooked ham (4 oz.)
    eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Blend 2 tablespoons butter and mustard; evenly spread on bread.
    Top with cheese, ham and remaining bread (buttered side down).
    Cut each into 4 triangles.
    Beat eggs, milk and soup mix. Dip sandwiches in egg mixture.
    Coat well.
    Melt 1/4 cup butter in skillet.
    Cook sandwiches until golden.
