New Potatoes With Basil Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. new potatoes (unpeeled), sliced
    1/2 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/2 c. chopped shallots or onions
    1/4 c. chopped fresh or dried basil
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in boiling salted water to cover for about 15 to 20 minutes.
    Drain carefully, leaving skins intact.
    Keep potatoes warm.
    (Note:
    Cook shallots or onions with potatoes.)
    Add butter and sour cream; stir into potatoes.
    Blend in basil, salt and pepper.
    Serve hot.
