Pineapple-Pork Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 oz. center-cut boneless pork, cut into 2 x 1/4-inch strips
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 medium red bell pepper, cut into strips
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
    2 tsp. light brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
    2 c. fresh snow peas
    3 quarter-size slices fresh ginger, minced
    2 c. drained canned pineapple chunks in unsweetened fruit juice (1/3 c. juice reserved)
Preparation
    Preheat the broiler.
    On a broiler rack, broil the pork 4-inches from the heat for 4 minutes, turning once.
    Remove and cool.
