Aunt Evelyn'S Brown Sugar Cookies(Rolled) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shortening
    4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. water
    4 eggs
    7 to 8 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Add vanilla and water.
    Combine 2 cups flour with soda, salt and baking powder and stir in.
    Stir in remaining flour.
    Put on floured board and knead in enough flour for soft dough.
    Roll on floured board.
    Cut, place on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
    I use this dough for raisin filled cookies.
