Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. prunes, chopped fine and precooked
    1 tsp. orange peel
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk; combine with well beaten eggs, sugar and oil.
    Sift dry ingredients and add, mixing well.
    Stir in orange peel, chopped prunes and pecans.
    Bake in a tube or 9 x 13-inch pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
