Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. buttery Crisco
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cut Crisco into flour, using a fork.
    Stir in buttermilk. Roll (by hand) the dough into 15 large biscuits.
    Handle dough lightly, adding flour as needed.
    Bake in a hot oven (450\u00b0) until golden brown (about 15 minutes).
    Serve hot with butter, honey, preserves or gravy.
