Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick melted margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 well beaten egg
    3 to 4 c. apples, peeled and thinly sliced
    5 to 6 slices bread
Preparation
    Mix together melted margarine, sugar, brown sugar, flour, vanilla, lemon juice and egg. Place apples in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar. Cut crust from bread, then cut bread in strips. Place strips very close together over apples. Spoon mixed ingredients over bread. Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
