Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 egg white
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. water
Preparation
    Cut onion rings 1/8-inch thick. Soak in ice water, sweetened with 2 or 3 teaspoons sugar. Dip in batter.
    Mix flour, oil, salt and water. Beat egg white until stiff.
    Fold in other ingredients.
