Cinnamon Lollipops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 c. hot water
8 drops oil of cinnamon
1/4 tsp. red food coloring
Preparation

Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in a saucepan.
Place over medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Cook to hard crack stage without stirring.
Wipe crystals from sides of pan frequently with a fork wrapped in a damp cloth, or place lid on pan and let steam dissolve the crystals.
(Be careful that candy does not boil over.)
Remove from heat.
Add coloring and flavoring.
Stir only to mix.
Drop by teaspoon on well-buttered flat surface.
Insert skewers, or pour candy on wooden sticks.
Makes 6 to 9 lollipops. Wrap in waxed paper.
