Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    Hot Rise self-rising corn meal
    2 Tbsp. grease or oil
Preparation
    Put grease or oil in iron skillet.
    Heat in 450\u00b0 oven until very hot.
    Meanwhile, beat egg well; stir in buttermilk.
    Just before skillet is ready, stir in enough corn meal to be medium thick.
    When skillet is hot, pour 1/2 hot oil in batter.
    Stir in well.
    Pour cornbread mixture into skillet.
    Bake until dry looking and brown (about 20 minutes).
