Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mushrooms
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. sherry wine
    1 can tomato paste
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. liquid (mushroom liquid plus water)
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes.
    Add garlic, tomato paste and liquid.
    Add 1 teaspoon salt and a pinch of nutmeg, cayenne pepper and allspice.
    Add Parmesan cheese and cook slowly about 30 minutes in covered saucepan.
    Add sherry last few minutes.
    Serve over broccoli or asparagus.
