Ice Cream Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (no substitute)
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, flour, salt and vanilla. Drop by 1/2 teaspoonful on a buttered cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Edges will be slightly brown when done.
    Cool and store in airtight container to retain crispness.
    Be sure to give them room to spread.
