Sour Cream Pound Cake(Won First Place Blue Ribbon State Fair 1993) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. cake flour
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Have all ingredients at room temperature.
    Cream the butter and sugar, beating until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating to blend.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream; mix well on low speed.
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
    Pour batter into pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves 20 to 24.
