Orange And Lemon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
grated zest and juice of 1 orange
grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
3/4 c. milk
2 sticks margarine, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 large eggs
powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients except powdered sugar.
Add orange and lemon zest.
In a separate bowl, combine orange juice, lemon juice and milk.
Set aside to sour the milk.
Beat margarine and sugar at high speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Add eggs one at a time.
Alternating, add one-third of flour mixture and one-third of milk mixture, beating well after each addition.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in a greased pan for 45 to 55 minutes until golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes.
If desired, glaze cake or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
