Frosty Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can applesauce
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (10 oz.) container whipped topping
    1 baked pie crust
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the applesauce.
    Add jello; stir until dissolved.
    Add sugar and lemon juice; mix well.
    Cool until almost jelled.
    Add whipped topping; mix well.
    Pour into pie crust; chill 2 hours or more before serving.
