Tea Biscuits With Raisins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    6 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. vegetable shortening
    2 c. raisins
    1 tsp. grated orange peel
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl.
    Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Add raisins and orange peel; mix lightly. Combine eggs and milk.
    Add to flour mixture, stirring to blend. Fill greased 2 inch mini muffin pans 2/3 full.
    Bake in batches as necessary.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
    Remove from pans.
