Autumn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onions
    4 c. hot water
    1 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet (or 2 bouillon cubes)
    1 c. diced potatoes
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced carrots
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    6 fresh tomatoes, cut up (or 3 c. juice)
Preparation
    Brown beef slowly in skillet.
    Add onions, cook 5 minutes. Put beef and onions in 8 quart kettle.
    Add remaining ingredients, except tomatoes.
    Bring to boil; cover, and simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
    Add tomatoes, and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes longer. Cooks note:
    This dish is great for dieters.
