Fluffy Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 to 5 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 to 4 Tbsp. shortening
    2/3 to 3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening with wire whisk; mixture should resemble coarse crumbs.
    Add milk all at once.
    Mix until dough follows fork around bowl.
    Place dough on lightly floured surface.
    Knead gently 1/2 minute.
    Roll or pat until 1-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in very hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 10 big biscuits.
