Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. margarine
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 3/4 c. chicken or turkey broth
2/3 c. milk
2 c. cut up cooked chicken or turkey
1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen vegetables or 2 cans Veg-All
pastry (I use Pillsbury ready crusts)
Preparation

Heat margarine over low heat until melted.
Blend in flour, onion, salt and pepper.
Cook over low heat.
Stir in broth and milk.
Heat to boiling.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Stir in chicken and vegetables.
Roll crust to fit oblong pan.
Pour mixture over crust.
Top with other crust.
Roll and flute edges.
Cut slits in center.
Cook, uncovered, in 425\u00b0 oven until crust is brown, 30 to 35 minutes.
