    1/2 c. warm water
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 c. milk
    2 c. quick cooking oats

    2 Tbsp. soft shortening
    1 Tbsp. salt

    5 1/2 to 6 c. flour
Preparation
Dissolve yeast in warm water in a mixing bowl.
Stir in milk, oats, brown sugar, shortening, salt, raisins and half the flour. Mix with a spoon until smooth.

Let rise until double in a warm place (1 1/2 to 2 hours).
Divide dough into 2 parts and shape into balls.
    Roll each into a 15 x 8-inch oblong.
Sprinkle with mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon, setting aside 2 tablespoons of mixture.
