Meme'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 oz. chocolate
2 c. boiling water
1 c. shortening
4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour milk
4 eggs, beaten

Preparation

Heat chocolate, water and shortening until melted and glossy when beaten.
Place in mixing bowl.
Add dry ingredients in order listed.
Then add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add milk; beat 2 minutes.
(Batter is very thin.)
Pour into greased pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
(Of course baking time depends on the size of the pan.)
