Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 stick soft butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    3/4 c. cold water
    1/2 box seedless raisins
    1 c. nuts (English or black walnuts, 1/2 in cake and 1/2 on top)
Preparation
    Mix together well and put in loaf pan.
    Place maraschino cherries on top of cake mix.
    Place half of the nuts in between cherries on top of cake before baking.
    Bake at 225\u00b0 for 2 hours or until done.
