Butter Pecan Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 c brown sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 slightly beaten egg
1 c. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Sift
together
flour,
baking
powder,
soda,
salt and spices; stir in sugar and nuts.
Combine remaining ingredients; add to flour mixture, stirring only until moistened.
Bake in a greased 9 x
5 x 3-inch loaf pan at 350\u00b0for 45 minutes or until done.
Cool
slightly before removing from pan.
Very good when spread with cream cheese.
