7-Up Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 c. 7-Up (no substitute)

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour gradually.
Add vanilla, lemon flavoring and 7-Up.
Bake in a greased tube pan 1 hour and 10 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven.
