J B'S Mighty Fine Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    2 to 3 large onions, chopped
    8 stalks celery, sliced
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomatoes with juice, chopped
    1/2 water (if needed)
    2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drain and save liquid
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    6 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in skillet; drain off grease.
    In large pot, stir all ingredients except kidney beans.
    Add liquid from beans and bring to boil.
    Reduce heat; cover, simmer about 50 minutes. Spoon off any fat.
    Add kidney beans.
    Cover and simmer another 50 minutes.
    Can serve with grated Cheddar cheese.
    Serves 6 to 8.
