Sweet And Sour Pork (Or Chicken) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. pork
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. water
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 medium bell pepper
    1/4 c. or 1 small onion
Preparation
    Cut pork into strips; brown in oil.
    Stir in water, bouillon cube and salt.
    Cover and simmer about 1 hour.
    Drain pineapple (saving syrup).
