One Dough(Many Uses) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. active dry yeast (not RapidRise)
    1/4 c. very warm water
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1 tsp. salt
    4 to 5 c. unbleached flour
Preparation
    In a bowl, dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
    Let yeast proof for 10 minutes until foamy and chalky looking.
    Add 1 1/2 cups of water and salt.
    Knead in bowl several times; takes 10 minutes.
