Super Energy Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. peanut butter (chunky is best)
    10 oz. marshmallows
    2 c. crispy rice, corn, Kix, Cheerios (in any combination to make 2 c.)
    1/2 c. sunflower seeds (optional)
    2 c. regular rolled oats
    1 c. raisins, plain or chocolate or date bits
    1/2 c. unsalted chopped peanuts or sliced almonds
    1/2 c. M&M's candies (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat.
    Add peanut butter and keep stirring until blended.
    Add marshmallows and stir constantly until all are melted.
    (Or melt butter, peanut butter and marshmallows in large microwave bowl for 2 minutes.
    Stir to blend and nuke another 1 to 2 minutes until all ingredients are melted.)
    Mix crispy cereal, rolled oats and peanuts in a bowl. Stir into melted mixture.
    Add chocolate candies at the very end of the blending process.
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan and press mixture into pan with buttered hands.
    Let cool.
    Cut into bars and wrap in plastic wrap or store in freezer in plastic bags. Makes 24 bars or 48 cookies.
