Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef or chuck
1 medium onion, chopped
2 (8 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes in juice, cut up
1 tsp. salt
1 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation

Brown meat and onion; drain fat.
Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
Bring to boil; cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
