Chicken And Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken breasts
    1 small onion
    water
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. corkscrew macaroni
    salad oil
    2 large carrots, thin sliced diagonally
    salt and pepper
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, cut into quarters
    1/2 small bunch broccoli, cut into small pieces
    1/2 small head cauliflower, separated into pieces
    1 bunch green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Rinse chicken in cold water.
    Place in saucepan with 2-inches of water.
    Add small sliced onion.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 35 minutes.
    Remove chicken to a large bowl and refrigerate.
    Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
