Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    5 whole eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add one egg, slightly beaten.
    Add a little flour.
    Stir well.
    Continue in same manner until all eggs and flour have been added.
    Add vanilla; mix well.
    Mixture will be stiff.
    Pour into lightly greased tube pan or loaf pan.
    Bake 40 minutes at 375\u00b0 or until cake is golden brown.
