Country Cabbage And Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. bacon grease
    2 lb. Italian sausage
Preparation
    Wash cabbage and cut into eight sections.
    Put cabbage in a pot, add enough water to cover cabbage.
    Cook it until tender. Add salt, sugar and grease.
    Boil hard for
    5 to 10 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is low.
    Add sausage that has been cut into 3-inch pieces and cook 5 to 10 minutes on medium heat.
