Becky'S Cheese Casserole Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 c. very warm water
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Add sugar, salt and shortening.
    Let mixture stand until lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in very warm water.
    Add to mixture the cheese and flour.
    Blend well.
    Cover with Saran or towel and let rise until double, about 45 minutes.
    Stir batter down and beat 1/2 minute.
